Hi all, Hope you have been following our progress here on this blog and on the Redbull Romaniacs web site. I can contirni that on the Red Bull video clip of the prolog, it is me in the white helmet going over the handle bars when crossing the tyres.
Several days later, we are still riding, and still having a great time. Today´s biggest mishap was wipping over in the river when checking out how deep it was; well my clothes needed washing!
Thanks to the lads who lent me the riding clothes; British Airways are still looking after my kit bag. Looks like I´ll have no washing to do when I get back home.
I must tell you about our adventure on the first day. Riding in darkness, I fell down a hole, nearly a meter deep. Tina and I couldn´t lift the bike out, so off she rode to a rescue point not far away (ca. 3 km). Leaving me to guard the KTM. After a few minutes, I could smell the aroma of wood smoke, and soon met the cheery smiles of two romanian farmers. To cut the story short, they lifted my bike out of its hole, then after I failed to start it, hand the eranked the 520 back into life for me. So that’s a challenge for you all!
